I'm writing you to tell you that I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in how I was treated throughout this process. I had high hopes based on the reviews I read and the 1st contact I recieved that you were in the business to help people by taking a different approach. My initial contact with Roscoe Evans was fantastic. He was very professional and informative. He scheduled an appointment for today at 2 with AUSTIN BITTERS that I was optimistic about as getting start up business funding of any kind is difficult. My 690 credit score and 185k annual income made it seem like I would have options and he assured me that AUSTIN was one of the best. Well it's 2:26 and I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. Instead I received an preformatted impersonal email from AUSTIN an hour before hand stating that we couldn't approve anything due to "Too Many Inquiries/New Accounts" which I have seen before. (I travel for work and like the travel rewards cards so I end up getting those types of BS denials with zero teeth all the time. One phone call with a human and it's a different story.)

Nowhere in the email did it state he wasn't going to call me and when I finally emailed him after the appointment time he responded with LITTLE TO NO HELP WHATSOEVER OR EXPLANATION. To flat out deny all forms of funding with little to no due diligence or analysis based on 9 measly inquires in the last 12 months is amateur at best. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE FRAUD AND LIE. Top all of that off he DIDN'T EVEN have the accumen or professional courtesy to call me and discuss what this means, honoring our appointment.

Now I was lead to believe that this was a professional organization that was in the business of helping small businesses gain funding to attempt being successful but everything I've experienced this far says the opposite. It seems the title of "senior funding advisor" has no real weight and I'd be better off calling one of the big banks and CC companies.

Needless to say I'm EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED with AUSTIN and the company that chooses to condone his actions.

OVERALL: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You will be sadly dissappointed by AUSTIN BITTERS and FUNDWISE CAPITAL  for DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND LYING TO CONSUMERS. He is not the best, he is a SCUMBAG FROM HELL THAT COST MY COMPANY MILLIONS!

Working with lenders

AUTHOR: Jack - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, March 29, 2018

I suggest you hear what lenders tell you, take some time and put together a plan. I am speaking from experience in a major way. It took my wife and I 8 years to repair credit, slow down on credit spending, buy a house etc. Banks have guidelines and they change all the time. Sounds like you may have a better chance getting funding now. Sorry if that sounds rude, not meant to be that way. We got approved by a company in less than 48 hours for working capital. 10 years ago it took me 9 hours to buy a car at 12.99%. 2 years ago I purchased a car at 4.45% and was out of the delership in 90 minutes. Stick with it!

We appreciate the honesty!

AUTHOR: Fundwise - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 27, 2018

Thank you for the review. We appreciate all of the honest feedback we receive as it helps up become better as a company. In regards to your review, we would like to apologize for the service you have received. We strive to help every business and business owner that comes to us, we realize the error on our part of not giving you a call to go over the reasoning behind why we would not be able to acquire you funding at that time.

Since the time you left your review, and now, we have been able to change multiple processes of ours so that future customers are not receiving the same experience. A few examples being:

We changed our emails sent out to customers who do not qualify, to better state why they do not qualify for funding and who they can expect a call from to go over their options moving forward.

We implemented a team that calls all customers who do not qualify to go over why, and what their options with Fundwise Capital are moving forward (this includes but is not limited to credit partners, credit repair, building funding in the business name, and our least favorite - waiting a few months for inquiries to fall off naturally).

We also have implemented an automatic underwriter so we are not having to wait half of a day for our team to manually underwrite a client and therefore can give them a more accurate approval on their initial call.

These are just a few of the processes we have cleaned up and/or implemented to make it so all who are in contact with Fundwise Capital have a great experience with us rather than only the ones actually acquiring funding or those approved. Again, we are very sorry for the service you received and condemn the individual whom you had a negative experience with.

As you stated in your review, you were lead to believe that we were a company focused on helping small businesses, and we are. We strive to help in whatever way that may be (even if that may be referring you to another better-suited company, or having to wait as our credit repair partner assists you), we hope to resolve the issue at hand and would love the opportunity to go over your credit profile again in order to get you the best funding you qualify for. We wish you the best in all endeavors moving forward!

Too much venom for a refusal

AUTHOR: Biskit - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, October 15, 2017

It seems to me they were just doing business. You applied to them to help find funding for your business. They setup an appointment with you but an hour before they emailed that you don't meet their, requirements for funding. You don't mention that you had already sent them any money so how did they rip you off? Because they didn't think your business was worthy of funding? You can post anything here for your annual income but it seems you can take this as a learning experience and stop, applying for so many credit cards. That would not only make you more eligible for future business funding with this company but would also stop you having to speak to credit companies in person to get approved for yet another card.
