Dont buy anything from these guys at furnaceparts.com. Even if the item you purchased is un-opened and in new condition, they refuse to exchange it for a different, less expensive, product. And dont even think about asking them for a refund!

Rebuttal to Rodd Halls Story

Our Customer Rodd Hall purchased a part from us in Sept. of 2007. Although it was a special order part and therefor not re-fundable under the terms of our return policy, (*which he had to agree to in order to complete his order on our web site)

We emailed him the following msg. "Send me the part back and I will give you the price of the part back and eat the re-stock fee. As you agreed, The shipping is non-refundable and you must send it to us pre-paid in the unopened pck. in NEW and unused condition. I will refund back to your card what you paid less shipping."

It is now 6/11/2008 and Mr. Hall never returned the part. It appears he was more interested in slander of a merchants reputation then an amicable resolution to his problem. At this point, as it has been 9 months since we offered him the opportunity to return the part, the offer is rescinded.

I don't know the company but the return policy at http://furnaceparts.com/returns.htm says it all, sorry you didn't read it first.

"Our Return Policy Described

*Before you buy, be certain you are ordering what you want. All sales are final and "AS IS" with the following exceptions; "

Then the exception go on to twist and turn. Reading that I wouldn't order a furnace filter from these people.
