The Roomstore Damaged and repaired furniture sold to customers as new furniture ripoff Phoenix Arizona

As an employee (soon to be x-employee, I hope to find other employment soon) I have seen plenty. The warehouse where the consumers furniture is stored is not a controled environment. It runs about 130 degrees in the summer months with only a swamp cooler. I have seen new sofas go into the shop area to have the mold cleaned off before selling to a customer as new furniture, at a new furniture cost.

The sofas, loveseats and sleepers are stored on end. Gee, what do you think happens to the wood frame when it is stored like that. If you ever get one thats warped, that would be the reason.

There is no maintenance department there, so the dirt, dust, spiders and who knows what is inches thick on the furniture with only a light piece of plastic to protect it. Most of the time, the plastic covering is ripped in more than one place.

This damaged furniture all goes into the shop area to be repaired the easiest and cheapest way possible and then sold to the consumer.

The "material handlers" are never qualified or trained and basically dont really care how this merchandise is handled. It is shoved over, dropped, climbed over and abused in every way imaginable.

The Roomstore does not care about the quality of their furniture or their customers any more than they care about their employees.

The salespeople will say what ever they need to say in order to make a sale. Most of what they promise does not happen.

As for satisfaction with a problem by contacting customer service, forget it. they are not trained or paid enough to care.

I bought some furniture here when I first started working here because of the employee discount. The last furniture purchase I made was made elsewhere at retail cost. I wouldnt own anything that comes out of that warehouse.
BE afraid. be very, very afraid of anything the Roomstore sells.
