On 6 June 2009, I ordered a dining room set online from Furniture Warehouse and paid the full amount with a credit card.  I received an order confirmation a few weeks later, but called to determine a potential delivery date for the furniture. The representative, Meagan Price or Meagan Bradford, told me the delivery date would be 6-8 weeks from order date.

After not hearing from the company, I contacted them in July and was directed to Aaron Vesterfelt who responded to my email and told me there was a delay at the manufacturer and that I should have my furniture by mid-August.  After n o contact for a month, I contacted Mr. Vesterfelt on 26 August to obtain an update.

Finally, on 18 September, I requested a refund of my money and cancellation of the order. Mr. Vesterfelt told me I needed to contact PayPal for a refund. I told him I did not deal with PayPal and wanted a check from his company.  The company eventually sent me a Refund of Credit Cards Unable to Credit in November which I immediately completed and sent back.  I followed up and was told my paperwork was in "Accounts Payable" and should be sent soon. The message also included a directive from Michael Whetzel to Vesterfelt to finalize everything within one week.  To date I have not received anything and have filed a lawsuit in small claims court against the company and notified the Better Business Bureau of Greensboro, North Carolina.

I have also contacted our local NBC affiliate with this information and plan to contact the FBI and anyone else who investigates this type of crime.
