Please Beware of this company. You will find several advertisements listed on reputable websites that appear to be blogs posted by every day people. Most of them read "As Seen on Oprah - or on Rachel Rae". These individuals will tell their stories of how ACAI BERRY DETOX and Power Flush 500 worked as a miracle diet for them. They will provide links within their blogs that are links to the "supposed" site that they ordered their free trial from. The free trials of the Acia Berry and Colon Detox (Power Flush) will state that you pay only for shipping. Most people receive their initial order as promised. Within 15 days your credit card will be charged anywhere from 40.00 to 80.00. The original information that you viewed while ordering provides a non-working phone number of 954-699-0814. When you research this company which appears on your credit card billing statement sa Lipaphen, you will eventually stumble across the accurate phone number of 1-866-949-0138. You will be told that thier website clearly states that all subscriptions must be cancelled within 15 days or you will be billed for the full amount of your trial offer. It does not matter to them that the phone number you have is a non-working number - or that the information regarding the "subscription" appeared nowhere on the site that you ordered from does not supply the information that they are describing to you. Here is the link to the original return policy information that I had containing the false phone number http://www.acaiberrydetox.com/contactus.aspx. The only way that you would be aware of this subscription stipulation is if you ordered directly from their website (which I still do not have). At this point, all you can do it to cancel your subscription which they appear to be fully willing to do. However, when you get billed again and make another call to the company, your subscription still shows to them as "active" and you have no proof that you cancelled your subscription. Per thier policy, a subscription cannot be cancelled by certified mail - only by phone. Therefore, you have no proof. On my second attempt to cancel my unauthorized subscription, I asked for written proof or an e-mail confirmation confirming my cancellation. My request was automatically diverted and the customer service rep actually tried to change the subject by selling me another product. She actually refused to even acknowledge what I was asking for regardless of how many times I asked for it. I eventually had to hang up. I called again. Of course, my subscription was still "active". I asked to speak to a Manager or Supervisor. I was basically refused. Please beware - this is a major scam and it appears to be impossible to rectify.

Call the FWM helpline

AUTHOR: Lavern Berry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 19, 2009

Try to give FWM another call using 866-949-0138. Based on my experience, I called that no. when I thought of cutting off my subscription of Acai Berry products. They gave me a cancellation no. and I received an email which stated that I will no longer supply me with their products. I even got a refund within three days.
