I went into FYE music in August 2012 and the clerk offered to sign me up for a free trail of the FYE backstage Vip pass, he told me its free for the first month and will save you $ off your transactions. Of course, I said sure sign me up, but will  it cost me next month? He replied yes, its $11.99 per month there after, but here's a phone # to call and cancel next month so you wonn't be charged again.  So September 2012 I called the # and an automated recording came on and cancelled my acct. I thought all was done, never thought about this again, until today!

I made the mistake of thinking this all was done and good, BAD IDEA!!!  So today I look at the bank statement for that acct 1 yr later, and what do I find....TWO charges from FYE backstage VIP pass for $11.99 ...2!!!!! in one month! WHAT!!! I freaked out, seriously I cancelled this a yr ago, So I call the # and a rep got on the phone, she said she would again cancel my membership and refund $ 11.99 for the last two months. Ok thats fine but what about the double billing! No response, and no offer to fix that, unless I provide her with the original cancellation number!  What I found odd is I never gave her a membership # or any personal info before she told me she would cancel my acct...hmmm!  So I asked her how she had my info and she said by your phone # that came up when you called in, well if they can pull my whole acct without verifying 1 thing with me, I think they should be able to tell that this same # called last yr, Don't you!?

I am furious, I have spent the entire day looking for my original cancellation # from last yr, only to not find it! I'm very upset with this company for ripping me off, and I might add I don't shop at this store but 1 time per yr. I am partly at fault for not checking up on them and not paying attention to that bank acct,  but whatever happened to honesty!!!

I think this company should be investigated as to how many people they are double billing and charging after the membership has been cancelled.  I went though my bank statements and they charged me each month  since Sept 2012 and a few months double charged me, I am calling my bank monday morning and banning any withdrawls by this company!! Just in case they decide to activate my membership without my approval AGAIN!

For anyone that is a member watch your bank statements cuz they may be ripping you off too!

I would also be very very interested in any class actions suits against FYE Backstage VIP pass.
