OK, so my son shopped long and hard for the perfect Christmas Present
for me, an NFL digital clock to hang in my office/exercise room/man
cave, and found it at http://shopgadgetsandgiz (the online store of gadgets & gizmos).  

He paid for it with his own money, about $70 and he purchased it in early
November 2012.  As I said it was a Christmas present therefore I did not
open it until after the 30 day exchange policy.  Well as you would
guess, the clock was defective, it had a high pitched tone that was so
loud, it was literally painful to be in the same room with it.

I called the company, left messages (3) with no call backs, I went to
their website and applied for an RMA which was denied because it was
more than 30 days since it was purchased and I was directed to contact
the manufacturer.. Well, low and behold, the manufacturer has a 1 year
warranty that is to be processed through the store that it was purchased from.

Nope, G&G would not take it back, so here I am stuck
with a defective product and now resolution.  Really pisses me off
because it was a Christmas present that my son worked 10 hours at him
minimum wage job to pay for and the will not exchange it because it went
