On March 27, 2012, I started the process of selling my SWTOR account to Gametag.com. I was initially offered a quote of $620.66 for the account and after looking through their F.A.Q. and their listed reputation I decided to commit to the quote and enter into a contract of sales with them. That same day I provided them with the information they requested so that they could verify my account and I then waited for further actions from them.

I did not receive any reply from them until April 2, 2012 when I sent an email via the "Live Chat" function on their site. In their response I was told that my order had been moved to a "pending" status which was never actually reflected in the database via the customer order number panel. I then proceeded to wait until April 16 when I was sent three emails asking for more information for my account and my requested payment type and email address associated with it. I figured at that time that I was well on the way to being paid but that was just the start. The information on my account was changed around April 22 and they took control of the account.

According to their website I should have either been paid before or almost immediately after they had taken possession but I wasn't.On the 25th of April I sent another email asking about the status of my order and was again told that it was pending. This was also never reflected on their site.

Since the end of April I have tried contacting them on around five occaisions through different means (email, facebook wall posts, facebook  messages)on the dates of May 2nd, May 8th, May 23rd, May 29th without any response from them.

TOS Violation

AUTHOR: Nikki - ()

POSTED: Friday, February 14, 2014

Not supposed to buying/selling these accounts. That said others have said to email vip@gametag.com if you have issues with payment delays. Try that. We can't help you here. In fact what you're doing violations the TOS of the game. If you're expecting us to support you, not going to happen. Follow the rules.

You get what you deserve

Selling account for real money which breaks the owner of the game ToS. You entered into the illegal part and you got what you deserved. If you come on here to warn other people, it is great of you. If you come here to moan about what you did not get, too bad.
