Gander Mountain Gander Mtn. fake price match and deceptive marketing St. Paul, Nationwide

High prices, rude behavior, and overcharges at Gander Mountain.  One example of being charged full price for on-sale item, which they refunded on my next visit.  Prices on many items I want are the highest in the area.  $30 item selling for $40, $580 item selling for $700.  Gander sets their prices way too high.  Sometimes on smaller items I'll buy it then later find out I overpaid and wish I hadn't shopped there.  On a larger item, I asked for price match, got a rude response, and a weak counter proposal.  So I went elsewhere and saved $120... and it wasn't even on discount at the competitor!  Gander reserves the right to refuse price matching - read the fine print.  I have generally been treated OK but last time the staff member was extremely rude, sarcastic, snotty, unhelpful even defensive in the approach.  Horrible experience.  Contacted customer service 48 hours ago but got no response so I'll leave it here for them to read instead.  I won't go back so long as I have better options, I'll be patronizing the other stores of which there are many.
