I recently went to jeep to purchase a vehicle. The sales guy that I went to alix st.fort seemed to be very nice and understanding at first, but everything went left as soon as I didn't accept the trashy broken down vehicles he wanted me to accept. After being pressured I finally accepted something I thought was in good condition. Until 2 weeks later the vehicle broke down in the middle of the road. When I called him to let him know of the demise, he asked me questions like I was stupid or a complete idiot. For example "are you sure that gas was in the vehicle?" REALLY!!! So after going back and forth with him for about 20 minutes on the phone I took the vehicle in to be serviced twice to check what the issue could have been, and of course NO ISSUES. At this point I can't even get angry anymore. Moving forward to about a week later when I'm attempting to make my first payment, I call the bank on the 10th of may because the loan would've been due on the 13th, the bank says to me " I'm sorry for any misunderstanding but we sent back the contract and you currently don't have a loan out with us." I call back garden city jeep, now the finance manager who I delt with Karen-ann rose no longer works for that company and someone else will get back to me. Now confused and still waiting for a return call decide to call and immediately speak to someone. Finally got thru to a new "finance manager" and her excuse was they forgot a document to send in the the creditors and basically I'm driving around for free. Now I'm at the point to returning the vehicle, but afraid of damaging my credit. How do or how can I deal with this shituation? HELP!

You signed documents and I assume you have a copy of the documents. If you don't, get a copy right away. You don't want to take the word of someone over the phone as a verbal "amendment" can't over ride a written agreement. Go to an attorney right away and have him prepare whatever documents you need to turn the vehicle in without having a repossession. Looks like the lender they lined up for you decided not to pick up your loan. Take advantage of this small window of time to have the deal properly unwound.  The right paperwork is critical.  If you blow this off, you may end up with a repossession even if you turn in the vehicle right away.

This action will get you a clean slate. From there, if you are going to get another vehicle, you need to do your homework first.

Study the right way to buy a vehicle. Never buy one without a pre-purchase inspection prior to signing anything. Have the inspection done by a third party professional mechanic not associated with the dealership at all.  That will cost you a little bit, but is worth it.  Get your financing lined up with a credit union - don't use the lenders at the dealership. If you can't get financing, do what you have to do to work on your credit or income or debt or all three to get into a position to finance a vehicle. If you can't finance one, pay cash for a beater. If you don't have the cash, then don't buy one. Not everyone needs a vehicle.
