Gaslite Villa Nursing Home ripoff - They stole from my mother and fed her nasty food. Canal Fulton Ohio

My Mother Passed away in Feb and her personal items were returned to us. However, all the clothes we had just bought her for Christmas were gone (they all still had PRICE TAGS on them), and all her jewelry was gone. Some was just bought for christmas.

When I called them about it they said they would check into it and get back to me. I waited 2 weeks but there was no call back. I called again and they SAID her clothes were given away but they were still checking into the jewelry.

Again I waited 3 weeks and then called back the lady who was handling it. I found out that she was let go, and a new case worker would check into it. The new lady called me after 2 weeks and said she found a note that the clothes were given away but she still didn't know anything about the jewelry.

My Mother wasn't taken care of while she was there like she should have been. She was fed food I wouldn't give my dog. They had repeat menus and then they stole her stuff after she died!

While she was in the hospital she had a basket with all kinds of goodies in it, and the staff ate it. I wouldn't send my DOG to this place.

I used to BEG my mom to let me place her somewhere else but she had been there 7 yrs and knew everyone and she OFTEN told off the aides and nurses when things weren't right.

Don't send your parents there, and if they are there take home anything you don't want missing, and take home their clothes and wash them because the staff shrinks them or they come up missing.
