I recieved a check in the amount of $4875.00 to be utilized toward my taxes with the IRS for the supposed $55000.00 I won. Tried calling 647-887-9984 and speaking with Laura Edwards regarding this check. No answer. Smart enough to block caller ID so as not to give them anything. Several attempts ....no breakthrough. Called the bank on the check...routing number 221371165 which matched " Partners Trust Bank" aka M&G Bank. Called and referenced account number on check....surprise surprise....account number invalid. It's a scheme to get your bank account information. Please don't fall for it. Working on filingings to prevent someone from falling for this garbage!
