GC Services Limited Partnership Colection Agency Sent bill to "Piebmont Metal Inc" at my home address; no such company has ever been at this address houston, Texas

GC Services has sent two notices to my address, but to a Piebmont Metal Inc. that has never existed at this address, claiming a balance due of $1,780.56 for a Sprint account (which I have never had), using account # 873840550.
And advising me to "Be certain your account is correct" which asks for my
home phone #; new address; employer; employer address
Also threatens to report to the three major credit bureaus.

If the mail was NOT addressed to you... why did you open it? You do realize that is a federal offense correct? You should have sent the mail back with (NOT KNOWN AT THIS ADDRESS) You admit that you violated federal law...
You also should be aware that people use fake address to avoid having to pay and your may just be the one they had on file from the other person.

Simply mark the envelope "not at this address, return to sender" and hand it back to your mail carrier or drop it off at the USPS.
It's not addressed to you, so why are you concerned about it?
