I have received over 30 phone calls over the past several months from GC Services. The number comes up on my caller ID as "Operations Division" 614-322-1696. At first I did not answer the phone because I did not recognize this number but after they kept calling at all times of the day 6 days a week I answered the phone. They asked for an ex-boyfriend of mine. When I told them that he did not live at this number, they asked me if I knew where he was, I replied I did not and please do not call my home again. Well they waited a week and began calling again. Again I told the rep. they had the wrong number this person did not live here and to stop calling me.

Again one week later they call again. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told I could not. I asked for the name of the company and he would not tell me. The man that was on the phone is the same man I had spoken with the past serveral times. I told him I had informed him to stop calling my home, he lied and said there was no record of my requesting them to stop calling but he would put it in the file. He then got rude and tried to disconnect the call, but he did not, and I heard him tell another employee that I knew where this person he was looking for was. I replied, "You should make sure you disconnect your calls", he then hung up on me. Well today I got a call from them again, 800-753-8354 ext. 5170. I called this number and this time a woman answered the phone, I asked where I was calling and she said GC Services, I asked to speak with asupervisor and she went completely nuts, yelling at me, asking me who I was, telling me I was calling her job and not identifing myself and then said I could be a stalker. I told her I wanted to speak with a supervisor and she hung up on me.

Is there legal action I can take against this company, can they be fined?

File a complaint with your phone company

AUTHOR: Ginia - (U.S.A.)

This debt is not yours, you've told them to stop calling and they persist. Your next step is to file a complaint with your phone company against them for harrassment.
