On October 1 2009 I purchased furniture from a warehouse a friend had referred me to. She warned my that this guy was not easy to deal with, but that she thought I may get a great deal on some brand new bedroom furniture. After quickly scanning his inventory, my husband and I decided to order pieces that he would then customize (he is a certified woodworker and builds as well as customizes wood furniture). Mr. Cristell indicated that the furniture would arrive in "10 days to 2 weeks tops". We paid 1/2 down on the purchase. 16 days passed, and after contacting Mr. Cristell, he stated that the delivery date was now "4-6 weeks", instead of the 10 days/2 week window he originally told us. So we waited. On October 29, 2009 we again contacted Mr. Cristell who offered to "set up an appointment with me to look at something in his warehouse" in replacement of the stalled order. My intentions at this point was to obtain a refund of the deposit, since I had already seen his merchandise and nothing he had in stock interested me. I set up an appointment for the next business day - October 30th at 1:45pm. He stated that his appointments were in 15 minute increments. I called him at 1:30 to inform him that I was about 5 minutes behind schedule and if he wanted to reschedule to please call me back. He did not call back so I proceeded to the warehouse, arriving about 5 minutes late only to have him yell and scream at me about being late, and that he had to unload a furniture truck (which he was already unloading, and had apparently been unloading before long my arrival), which was "more important than me". I simply asked for my refund and he began to yell and scream all sales were final, you wont get a refund. Customers that were waiting for him started leaving the scene after witnessing his aggressive demeanor towards me. At that point he turned to yell at them also, screaming, "leave if you want to spend more money somewhere else, go ahead, and leave. He again turned and shouted out to them, are you leaving because of a scum-bag customer like her"? (referring to me). In shock at this point, I again asked for a refund, which he laughed at, says, "all sales are final, this is a civil matter, you won't get your money back". At this point, I returned to my vehicle and left him yelling after me. After having to get law enforcement involved along with a friendly visit from my husband, he finally refunded the money. My advice to anyone reading this and considering patronizing this person DON'T DO IT! It is not worth the headache. You will only end up saving about $50 or $60 anyway, and believe me, no amount of savings it worth the nightmare. Greg is rude and delivers nothing but BAD BUSINESS! Buyers PLEASE BEWARE!
