GE Capital CARDCONs Rip-Off

I, too, was nearly 'ripped-off' by this finance company. I bought some deck furniture from a local company who used GE Capital CARDCON as one of their '6 months same as cash' financiers. The first five payments were credited with no problem. I sent the 6th and final payment in 10 full days in advance -- GE Capital CARDCONs claimed they didn't receive it until 5 days after the due date and tried to charge me app. $125 interest.

Yeah, right...I called the company from whom I purchased the furniture and wrote a letter to the local Better Business Burueau. I also called the local business office of GE CAP CARDCONs (or whatever their name really is). When all was said and done, I did NOT pay the interest and the local company from whom I purchased the deck furniture dropped them from their list of finance companies.

Who has the clout to shut this rip-off company down?
