Wow, what can I say that hasn't been said already, ever notice that no one even really response anymore to the more recent complaints, or in actuality there doesn't even seem to be that many more complaints. I'm assuming it's because people either did give up and not even bother anymore (which is a bad thing, and not fair, but in the long run it's good, because people have caught on and won't buy anymore warranties or deal with Circuit City until they fire this company)

If anyone reads this and does some research on the company they will find all the other complaints before mine, I did a simple Google and found these pages on the ripoffreport and complaints.com, and as I'm reading all of this I'm think yeah I got that treatment, and yup that happened to me too, and I laughed when many of the ex-employees actually wrote and verified all the complaints and then gave a lot of the inside dirt on the company, from incompetent unqualified team leaders, to hold time limits, to the hilarious employee appreciation days, to the backstabbing, to the quick someone from circuit city corporate is coming today, clean up and pretend to actually work. I know Staples does not work with this company anymore and with good reason.

I tell you the incompetence is hilarious. I was told my printer was one of those commercial printers thus they could not help me and no one knew how to support it. The tech person claimed they normally just send out a replacement printer if they can't fix the problem (I know he didn't say new, and from the previous complaints on this site, all they do is send out a busted refurbished one that's probably going to fail soon) and they couldn't for me because it was huge and expensive.

I was lied to about someone contacting me, no one called me back, no one did any research, I was told to clean the printer. I waited a week for the vender they hired (they too were incompetent) to call me and when no one did, I called GE back and they told me they would find out. So another week goes by, I call again, and not only do they not know when the tech will come but they have no idea why they haven't contacted me! I need to wait two weeks, just to hope that someone would find out WHY no one contacted me, finally the third week rolls buy and I finally get someone to give me the vendor's telephone number (this was a miracle in and of itself).

I call, and this a** vender tells me yeah we've been leaving messages isn't this your telephone number --- (they were off by one number) yeah, yeah we've been leaving messages, but no one called us back. I'm like what, you didn't bother to contact GE and find out if the number was right?!, you just left messages and assumed it was the right number??? And GE couldn't contact you to see why you didn't contact me??

This idiot vender then says, yeah so what do you want? I tell him my problem, he tells me it's a fuser, doesn't even send out a tech person, tells me he's an expert at this and then takes the credit card number and mails us a part for us to install ourselves. No help from GE what so ever. Story doesn't end.

Three months later the part breaks again. The fuser is only 3 months old, but it's outside of the 90 day warranty period for replacement by a week, this a*** Vender tells me tough luck it's outside of the warranty period call your warranty company. I know I won't get any help but I do any way, and GE tells me yeah whatever the vender said, tough luck. I find out on my own that it could be my motherboard overheating and burning out the fuser.

The idiot Vender didn't do his job three months ago, sells me a part, it breaks tells me tough luck, and GE does the same, I'm like wait a minute you guys didn't do a proper diagnostic back then, we paid for a part, now it's broken and you say tough luck???? What kind of bizzaro world do we live in?

So I find out the problem on my own and I have to tell them what the problem was and then the manager says, yeah we'll send someone out then. Isn't it the job of the warranty company to have techs who know what they are doing? Or have some idea of what the problem is, not just clean the printer That's like me going to a mechanic with a broken car, I tell them what I think it is, and the mechanic says, I have no idea what is wrong with your car, why don't you take your car apart and tell US what is wrong with it so we can then pretend to fix it.

They contact the same as** vender (National IT services, they used to be called JTB) so not only did they F*#k up three months ago, they then contact the same idiot venders who didn't do the job in the first place. Guess what, yup you guessed it more F&*k ups, National IT services then hires someone who doesn't speak English, this idiot comes to the office without calling of course, I show this idiot the printer and right away he tells me I should not leave the printer next to the cubicle space, I should put it up on the ledge. Bear in mind this is a 60 pound printer, I thought he was joking around and trying to make small talk, only later on did I realize what a true moron he is.

He tells me all I need to do is buy a platform and you can put it on the narrow edge between the cubicles. OKAY! so I tell him the problem, he has the work order, he opens up the back, takes out the fuser and tells me you need a new fuser. I'm like yeah I know this already, the 3 month old fuser broke, could you check the voltage of the motherboard and see if it's overheating. He tells me NO, I don't have to, it's your fuser, it's broken, you need to buy a new one. Again I tell him, I already knew the fuser was broken, it was a brand new fuser, only three months old, CAN YOU PLEASE CHECK THE MOTHERBOARD AND SEE IF IT'S OVERHEATING, THUS CAUSING THE FUSERS TO BREAK.

He then calls National IT and tells them he's finished his diagnostic and they need a new fuser, and National IT tells him fine and to wrap things up. I'm standing there stunned out of my mind. This guy then proceeds to doctor up a carbon copy of the work order and gives me a copy of it with something different written on it.

Conclusion, run away, run far far away, do not even look at any extended warranty if it has GE-Zurich on it. You are wasting your money, you know more than the employees at GE-Zurich, trust me, all they do is look up your problem and tell you to follow the instructions from what some other IT people say.

One time I was only hold for 15 minutes for someone to get back to me with some help. I thought he was running to a Level 4 tech with years of experience and knowledge. The guy comes back to me with go to www.hp.com there you will fine the help you need, is there anything else I can help you with Stunning, simply stunning.
