Dentistry office is owned and ran by Dr.'s Thomas and Sivia Sanchez Toma.

They advertise (as a way to bait people in) in the Penny saver, a "Complete Dental Exam" (new patient offer) that includes complete exam, x rays and cleaning, in the absence of gum disease. All for just $19. Problem is everyone will have gum disease so they do not have to end up performing the cleaning.

Went there (0945 hrs) for my 10 am appt. Finally was seen at 1150. After xrays were taken, was told I needed a new filling as I developed a new cavity and a replacement of an old filling because it "leaks." Also because I have "gum disease" (placque under the gum line) I would not be eligible for their cleaning special. I was given a list of alternatives, such as a deep cleaning for $570, different crowns at over $1100 and braces for over $2300!

I could not even get a superficial cleaning. So left pissed.

2 days later went to the Navy dentist at Balboa and had the Lt. Col check me. He said I had a cavity, and the placque I had was normal which a normal cleaning would remove. He Rx'd me though to find another dentist because if he is telling you, you have gum disease, his obviously trying to take you to the cleaners.
