We Called G,E. repairman to fix our washer and dryer unit; The technician told us we needed a new heater element and a switch at 600 dollars,WE purchased a new unit at 1200 dollars; then found out that our old unit was fine; the problem was a bad circuit breaker; which we replaced.
NOW we called G,E. and was told that they don;t check electric or work with electric.G.E. refunded our 84.75 service call and that was it. After serval call;s and writting to directors and the CEO; we;re awarded a gold star 50 dollar rebate.I;am amazed that acompany that is the worlds major ELECTRIC MANUFACTURE can;t find electrical problem or are they taught to sell new appliance and not be truefull about the repairs.

Bad breaker

No one besides an electrician with the correct equipment can diagnose an intermittent breaker. If they would have charged the money to come out and tell you that you had a bad breaker you would be equally upset.
