General Electric ripoff: my refrigerator is tore up and G.E. refuses to replace the part and fix it right. Louisville Kentucky

My refrigerattor broke down last week & i called a repairman, he said i had a sealed refrigeration problem which is covered under my warranty. general electric called me on april 22, 2004 said that they wanted to hang something on the back of my refrigerator to fix it but, i did not want garbage hanging on the back of my refrigerator because i did not buy it with stuff hanging off of it.

general electric stated to me that all my warranty says is for them to repair it but, it actually says replace it. i would not have bought a g e refrigerator had i known that if something tore up on it that i would have to have parts hanging off of it. this was my first new refrigerator and i was so proud to have it. in the passed i only bought used ones. i have only had it 3 yrs. and i payed 1200.00 for it. by the time ge gets done with it i probably couldn't sell it for a $100.00.

i would have been better off with another used refrigerator because now, i am not proud of it nomore because i bought a refrigerator with a misleading warranty.
