I have an 80 Cutlass that I found parts on line for on the Oldsmobile Racing website, I needed a header panel, and a front bumper after finding this man, emailing pictures back and forth. I deceided to purchase these items from him.
I mailed a personal check for 324.00, which I mailed next day. He sat on the check for about a week and waited to cash it. In the mean time I waited on Memorial Day he emailed me and said he was sick for 3 days and out, I was told that my parts would be shipped on Monday June 4th and have them no later than Thursday June 7, 2007. No Parts, he will not pick up the phone now.
I called the Sherrifs department for carnesviille last night and sure enough this man has had multiple complaints against him, he has had 6 in the past 2 week, we will be #7. I was informed that I have to go to my local police department and fill out a report and get it faxed to the investigator in carnesville, he will then drive out there and talked to him.
I was also told by the police that he usually sends your money back when they go out there. However, I am not done with this guy. If you look on the back of your check, look to see who else signed the check? There is a Women by the name of Mary who is also on the check (well at least on mine) I will also be filing a report against her.
I was also told this am by the Atttorney Generals office that everyone who has this problem with him should get in touch with there local attorney generals office and file a complaint. He has 3 complaints at the Attorney Generals Office now.

I wish you all good luck with getting your money back but you have to remember you have to do something about him you can not just sit back and wait for your money.
The Sheriffs office is basically waiting to hear from more people.

This is just to inform everyone that has been scammed by this person (I would like to call him a lot more but I am not sure if I can swear). I have been in contact with the Attorney Generals Office, the Aurora Police Department and The Sherrif's department for Franklin County in Georgia.
Here is the deal the Sherrifs department is fully aware of who George Bennet is and they are also aware of Mary C. Baker. IF YOU SENT HIM A CHECK LOOK AT THE BACK OF YOUR CHECK AND SOMEONE ELSE HAS CASHED IT. The Sherrif said he does not have a bank account so he signs the checks over to someone else. I am going to prosecute both of them.
I feel bad for everyone so this is what you need to do. You need to call investiagator Mitch at the Franklin County Sherrif's Department in Carnesville Georgia and let him know what happened. I have already taken it upon myself to fax all the complaints on here I have found.
They will tell you to go to your police deparment and file a report and have your police department fax it to them. They will then drive out to Geroge's house since they know him so well and sometimes you will get your money back (BUT THEY CAN NOT MAKE ANY PROMISES). I contacted my bank also tell them your story and you want to know where this check was cashed so you have the back up. Then call your US Attorneys office and they will help you with the US complaint.
My husband has been odering parts on line for years and this has never happened. I will not let this end if I just get our money back. He has scammed too many of you on here and we really do not know how many more people.

Also, HE DOES NOT HAVE CANCER and he does have a junk yard there but they have been trying to close him down and now they are going to.
