George Brown yahoo messenger gb00103 possible con artist Chicago Internet

I was contacted by this person on Plenty of Fish. he goes by the name of George Brown. He is 59, birthday is **  **(((REDACTED))). He approached me as being a widow looking to start dating again. Initially everything seemed completely on the up and up. I had no reason to think he wasn't who he said he was. He was living in Chicago, Illinois and relocating to Atlanta, GA. We were exchanging emails and chatting via yahoo messenger and he had to go out of the country on business...First alert...We continued to talk and became very "involved". I felt there was an issue with no phone chatting but "his phone" was messed up. We exchanged pictures, he has 4 that he sent. One he is leaning up against his truck in shorts, tshirt and a navy hat, another is "on a local bridge" he supposedly designed, one is with his dog "s****.>

Last week his "niece" needed $1750.00 and he needed help getting it to her from me. No, I didn't do it. I'm not that stupid. I had an issue with the fact he even asked. He got very "angry" then we didn't speak for 5 days. During that time I did a little investigating. I found his email address attached to rip off report! And to my surprise an email he had sent me on August 5, 2014 word for word to someone named Giselle on August 6, 2014. She had also reported him. She had linked him to Enzo Benedetto?

He managed to send me presents and yes that made him seem "real". However, nothing from the country he was supposedly in, which is what I had asked for.

So, this week he "was robbed", you guessed it, needs help. I again say I have no means to help you...he calls me wicked, tells me I have no heart...The problem is I have a BRAIN!

His story is he is a widow, his wife of 27 years was killed by a drunk driver 7 years ago along with his only daughter, Vanessa. His brother recently died of cancer and he's financially supporting his "niece" Cheryl (19) and nehpew Mike (3).  Their mother is "no good" and they are his only family. His parents are both deceased. He has no contact with his fathers family as they supposedly didn't like his mother. His mother was Italian and his father was transferred to Italy, that's how they met.

He claims to have spent most of his childhood in London where he obtained a degree in Construction Engineering, yet has a very prevelant Italian accent. We did speak once on the phone. He claims to own his own business. He builds and reconstructs bridges and buildings and gutters.

He does seem to have a lot in common with the Enzo Benedetto person.

I can say he's very convincing and will try very hard to make you feel wonderful, then when he solicits money he will try very hard to make you feel terrible for not helping. He's very smoothe, adoring, loving, writes poetry, sends love letters...all the right stuff.
