Germain Lexus and Lexus Corporate Think twice before buying a Lexus or a Lexus from Germain Lexus of Naples Florida Naples, , Florida

A Lexus battery purchased from Germain Lexus exploded causing damage to my Lexus SUV. After a year of discussion, mediation and the possibiltiy of a lawsuit, Germain Lexus said that they saw the damage and acknowledge it was caused by an explosion, but since Lexus corporate of Torrance, Ca would not stand behind the battery, they could not help me. Lexus Corporate would not give me a reason for not standing behind the battery they sold.
The plates of the battery dented the hood, and the acid in the battery badly damaged the top of the engine and spotted  the paint on the hood of the car.  Difficult to believe, but true. Lexus didn't care, and the dealer who had performed over $6,000 dollars in maintenance and repairs on the vehicle over the previous 5 years did not offer to help in any way.
I strongly urge anyone thinking of buying a Lexus, or thinking of buying anything from a Germain dealership to think twice. They have no problem selling luxury cars at luxury prices, they have no problem performing service at over $100 per hour, but do not ask them to stand behind their products or service.
