BEWARE!! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP.  The owner willfully provided fictitious by stating that he specialized in fixing BMW transmission since 1980.  He had the car for over two weeks from April to May 2014, charged me $700.00 to fix.  After failing to properly diagnose and fix the problem, the owner told me to take it to BMW to run additional tests because he did not have the equipment, and he would refund me the remaining $400.00 if BMW determined the problem cost more to fix.

I took my car to BMW and they told me that the problem still persisted only with other problems that GERMAN MOTORS FAILED TO PROPERLY DIAGNOSE.  Please note that it took BMW only 1 day to determine these issues.  After informing the owner of the report, he then told me that he was getting out of the transmission business and refused to refund the remaining $400.00. I submitted complaints to the North Carolina Consumer Protection Division and BBB. DO NOT GET SCAMMED!

After receiving my complaints to the North Carolina Consumer Protection Division, the Kim Hinson called my employer and told false statements that I was trying to use my position as an attorney to ruin his business.  Kim Hinson tried unsuccessfully to get me fired from by job. He is not trustworthy and will tell you anything to take your money.

GERMAN MOTORS is UNQUALIFIED to fix BMW's

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, October 21, 2015

The owner of GERMAN MOTORS, KIM Henson, is making untruthful and inaccurate statement in his rebuttal.

  • First, he is making untru that I drove my car off his lot without any issues.
    • Please let it be known I returned my vehicle to his shop two days after he charged me $700.00 to fix it.
  • Mr. Henson had my vehicle for a week after he initially fixed it and was unable to diagnose the problem.
  • At that time, he told me to take my car to BMW because he WAS UNABLE TO RESOLVE THE TRANSMISSION ERROR CODES AND SLIPS. Mr. Henson said he would fix the car once BWM determined the error codes
  • My car would not go over 45 MPH because the transmission would not get out of second gear.
  • When I took the car to BMW that were able to diagnose the car within two days and plainly stated that GERMAN MOTORS did not fix the  car.
    • MY CAR HAD SEVERAL TRANSMISSION ISSUES THAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED.
    • GERMAN MOTORS merely changed the transission fluid and plugs but did not propery diagnose the problem.
    • BWM and other mechanic said that German Motors should not have performed that task as it would not fix the problem.
  •  When I told Mr. Henson this information, he told me that "HE WAS GETTING OUT OF THE TRANSMISSION BUSINESS" and REFUSED TO FIX MY CAR AND REFUSED TO ABIDE BY HIS 6,000 WARRANTY

TRUTH ABOUT GERMAN MOTORS

  • THIS COMPANY MAKES UNTRUTHFUL STATEMENTS ABOUT BEING ABLE TO FIX BMW'S.
    • Other customers have written about their poor experience with German Motor's inability to fix other foreign cars.
    • Please check out reviews on social media and other internet sits
  • Kim Henson will tell you anything to take your money and not honor is warranty agreement.
  • Kim Henson wrote my employer and made false statements that I was trying to use my position to intimidate the company.
    • BEWARE to provide your employer's information as the company will use decietful tactics to get out of refuning you any money.
  • GERMAN MOTORS IS NOT QUALIFIED TO FIX FOREIGN CARS. TAKE YOUR CAR TO A QUALIFIED MECHANIC.
  • I have saved all receipts and correspondence for this poor transaction and ready to defend all my statements in a court of law.

German Imports

AUTHOR: Kim - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 20, 2015

A report was filed against my company on August 3, 2015 by a dissatisfied customer. This person after a year has continued to blast my company. My company fixed this persons vehicle and she drove away. When the car arrived at my shop it would not drive due to transmission issues.

I even refunded a portion of the customer's money trying to please her and taking a loss on the repairs myself.

To the best of my knowledge no further repairs have been made to this car and she continues to drive the car. This ongoing slander of me and my company needs to stop.
