I saw cafe cups advertise this morning and decided to order. On the website is shows a double order (=4 cafe cups and two scoops for $10.99 plus shipping and handling) that is what I ordered.

As I went to confirm my order it kept giving me options to "upgrade" 3 different times it did this and the offer sounded good but I didn't like their tactic so I said "no" to each upgrade offer.

At this point I thought I would have a chance to review my order and confirm but it simply went to the next page and showed that I have been charged $17.98 + $6.99 S&h. 

Where did the $17.98 come from?  I tried to call customer service and reached a recording saying they are closed and to call back during business hours.  However, they did not state when those business hours are nor what time zone they are located within. 

My husband said "don't waste your time fighting a few bucks" and I must agree it may not be worth it but if they are "upcharging" everyone this amount that is a great deal of money and they are not honest business people. [continued below]....

I searched the internet and quickly came across the other "ripoff reports".  Yes, I'm not alone in this one. I'll contact my credit card company and see about cancelling the transaction.  I actually want the product but if this is how they do business it's probably not a good product anyway.  We've already established that they use "dishonest" practices to obtain $$$.

Cafe cup

I've noticed that your complaint was for the price yet not the product, I got the same cafe cup which i'm pleased with it, now the web site explain very clearly, for two cups plus a scoop you'll pay 10:99 plus 6:99 shipping surprise that comes out as 17:98, wasn't that the amount you complained about?

You seem to have broken the mold for this company and gotten exactly what was advertised.  The 17.98 you mention was the 10.99 plus 6.99 shipping and handling for the first pair of cups and then the additional 6.99 was for the second set of cups (Pay just the S&H for the second set!), so you got exactly what you should have.  This is actually quite encouraging, given some of he other comments I've seen here.  In spite of those, I may try to order myself.  I don't mind stopping a credit card charge if I have to!

they have these in the stores now to , buy. so just look  i found then at Kmart. so don't buy online they do rip u off.

Review of CafeCup Order Form

Found myself in same position; however scanning all pages of their order status within 24HRS showed a button for "order cancellation".  Click and you will find appropriate information on how to cancel order.  I just did it and it worked...not a lot of trouble...less than 5 minutes.
