This is a typical boiler room scam operation. The sleazebag con-artist sales reps will lie to you, basically using scare tactics to sign up with their worthless debt reduction program. They will tell you that your debt will be eliminated or reduced if you complete their 2 to 5 year program, and charge you a fee ranging from 10% to 15% of your total unsecured debt. Meanwhile, what they are not telling you is that you can accomplish the very same thing all by yourself.

Here's how the scam works: They will tell you to stop making payments to your creditors (of course, this will ruin whatever good credit you might currently have), so that your accounts will be sold to third part collection agencies for $.20 on the dollar. Then, they'll tell you that they will settle your accounts with these agencies for $.40 on the dollar, allowing you to wipe out your debt for approximately $.55 on the dollar, including their fee of which 40% is collected in the first few months, automatically debited from your bank account. So if you become wise to their scam during or after this time period, you are out the money you have paid them with no guarantees that your accounts will even be settled!

You can accomplish the exact same thing by negotiating with the third party collection agencies all by yourself. It does not take any particular skill. Why make these greedy telemarketers rich with your hard earned money? And beware...they will promise you excellent customer service, but when it comes time to deliver, try reaching someone who will actually do something beneficial on your behalf. A TOTAL SCAM OPERATION! BEWARE!

COMPLAINT RESOLVED - TRIED TO DELETE BUT UNABLE TO, DUE TO RIPOFFREPORT.COM'S NON-REMOVAL POLICY

AUTHOR: Ourmanflint - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 13, 2008

My complaint has been resolved. The company has fulfilled its legal obligation towards me. However, the policy of ripoffreport.com is not to remove any posted complaints. So, for the record, I tried to remove this complaint. I have nothing either positive or negative to say about GHS Solutions, other than they've got a super-gorgeous girl working there named Colleen, who's too beautiful to be in a place like that. She ought to be a swimsuit model. What a fox.
