After reading all of the reports on this company, I could just say "ditto". I entered into business with this company in November 2000. Matt Williams was the specialist when I enrolled, however after he called to report he had my payment, that was the last time I spoke with him.

They did not get my contracts with creditors set up timely and got behind on payments. I cannot believe I let this go on for 18 months, but they would get it all straight and then either miss payments or be late again. I kept thinking things would smooth out. You would think that they would want to try to please ongoing customers. I believe I gave them every chance to get it right.

However, they caused me late fees, over limit fees, and after paying for 18 months, my debt had went up on some accounts and down very little on some.

I have asked for a refund of what I feel they cost me. I would really be surprised if I even hear from them. However I have contacted the man named Matt who has posted on here and is trying to get people who have been ripped off by this company together for a class action suit. I have kept every piece of documentation regarding my account, and plan to do everything I can to help bring this company down. From browing the internet the numbers are growing of people they have ripped off. They have changed names before, and may again. But I feel we should cause them as much grief as we can. What have we got to lose now?

I asked who the CEO of the company was and she said that she did not have that information. I asked her to ask her supervisor and they didnt know either. JUST AS IMPORTANT TO POST ON RIP-OFF REPORT AS THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND OTHER AGENCIES & MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE BBB

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Friday, October 11, 2002

Listing your complaint on many Government links sometimes are no better than the BBB and are most likely just a waste of time, giving you false hope. Many government sites (like the BBB) just collect all information from you, the consumer, but never make that information available for all to see, so consumers will NOT be educated as to what exactly they should be looking out for. By these agencies not letting you see these complaints, making them public, you never know how bad the company or individual rip-off really is.

On the other hand, many government agencies have and do come to the Rip-off Report for information. We have been assisting many government agencies for some time now, including the FBI and Attorney General offices from around the country..

Now that all these Rip-off Reports are out in the open for everyone to see, in a way, this embarrasses these agencies into doing something when they see so many reports on a Company or Individual, because they are now out in the open for all to see. Unfortunately, many (not all) Attorney General Office's and government agencies will not move against a rip-off unless you are well connected, or there is going to be some sort of publicity on the rip-off. By reporting your experience on the Rip-off Report, is the next best thing to getting your story on TV or in a newspaper. Most national TV networks and many local TV stations from all around the country also come to the Rip-off Report for information they will not get from the BBB, Attorney General office's or any other government agency.

Rip-off Report has instigated many local and national stories, resulting in help for victims' world wide, in one way or another. Most government agencies will never even bother with rip-offs unless it involves $50,000 or more. Now that government is cutting back even more dollars for these types of programs, this number will even get higher and we can expect even less to get done, by even less people to work on all these rip-offs.

Additionally, by filing a Rip-off Report, you might be contacted by us notifying you to contact a law firm that has shown interested in your case.

#2 Consumer Comment

Justice appears hard to get.

AUTHOR: S. - ()

POSTED: Thursday, October 10, 2002

I look at all of the comments regarding Gibson Trust on here, before and after I posted mine above and I see a repeat of the same fraud with customer after customer. There are 30 some on this site, and I am sure there are many others out there that have complained to Fl Atty Gen. and BBB about this company that do not know about this site.

I have sent a copy of each letter I sent them to the Atty Gen of Fl. The last time I sent a cover letter asking if they ever actually intended to do anything with this company other that set up a case #.

I am wondering how many complaints they have to have about a company to investigate them, and really ask them for improvements results. As I understood it, Gibson is pretending to cooperate and try to solve the problems with their customers. How long will the State Atty sit back and do nothing.

And this company is still attracting new customers to swindle, that is the sad part.

Update ..utter disregard for their customers

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Monday, September 30, 2002

After many emails and many letters complaining about the servicing of my account I received an email today from Bryan Cruz, customer service rep. He told me my account was in the process of being cancelled and if I have any questions or concerns I am to call them (right, if that is possible to get through) and speak with their legal dept.

This is the first mention of cancellation and they have never addressed my letters of complaint. This company never ceases to amaze me at the utter disregard for their customers.

I paid on time every month for 18 months until I got fed up with their late payments and wanted to get their attention before I paid anymore....Did I get their attention....NO, no response to my complaints whatsoever...

I believe they must be getting ready to go under a new name and start to fool a whole new bunch of people...otherwise they would at least try to keep customers.
