Gibson Trust Bad Business Ripoff Lying Thieves Takes your money but doesn't pay your bills ripoff Pompano Beach Florida

My husband and I have been clients for Gibson Trust for over three and a half years. We started when it was known as Goldstar Financial. I had one year left until my debt was paid off. My husband had a little over two. We have caught this company in fraudulant acts on more than one occasion. When I first started with the company they quoted me one price and then three months later told me I had to up it to pay off my debt. What a joke. I did what they asked because I really wanted to pay off my debt, especially since we were expecting our first child at the time.

In April of 2001, we were in the process of getting a mortgage to buy our first home. What a disaster!!! Gibson had both of our credits screwed up sooo badly that we almost didn't get the mortgage. Luckily at that time a nice young man named Konrad really fixed our situation and came through for us. He really helped and we were able to obtain a mortgage but unable to go conventional because of Gibson Trust's incompetence.

We had to really stay on top of them and threaten them with a lawyer to get everything accomplished on time and in the proper order. We ended up retaining a lawyer just in case we need him. I never did know what happened to Konrad. I spoke with him regularly through July 2001 and then I never heard from him again. I hope that he reads this and can get back to me to help us get back the money that Gibson stole from us.

Things started to take a nose dive again this past summer. Our creditors started receiving our payments late or not at all. My husband and I contacted Gibson Trust on a regular basis to help them keep up with our payments, however no payments were made for July 2002, September 2002 or November 2002. My husband and I are now out about $2000.00 worth of payments not rendered and initial deposits that we were owed in a year. We are angry and we don't have that kind of money to throw around. We are young parents of a 3 year old and another on the way. We were really counting on being debt free this time next year so that I could stay home full time with the children. Now we are just hoping to catch up and get current with our creditors. What perfect timing too: Christmas and Thanksgiving.

After the first fiasco, I began saving all of my credit card statements, gibson statements, e-mails and letter written to the company and even my money order receipts. I have all of the documentation necessary to prove that I paid and that they didn't.

We are not vindictive people but we do feel that we are owed some retribution in this matter. I hope that the former employees of this company come forward to help us in our plight for justice and to help ensure that these people can never do this to any other family again.
