gigwalk.com Gigwalk.com gigwalk is a JOKE!!! I have been a merchandiser for 5 years and my employer Retail Integrity was a great company. they changed over to gigwalk and there has been nothing but PROBLEMS. gigwalk gives no support on problems. gigwalk 'awards' you jobs and when you get ready to do them they 'remove' you from the job for no reason. they will give you jobs many miles from your house and will not give you jobs near your house. MERCHANDISER BEWARE!! You may end up owing them money after all is done! You would think geeks in silicon valley could create and maintain a system that works but I found out the hard way that has not happened internet

Gigwalk is a joke!!! I have been a merchandiser for 5 years and I worked for Retail Integrity out of Arkansas. They are a great company almost the best that exist. They changed over to gigwalk. Gigwalk has been nothing but problems. They will 'award' you jobs and when you get ready to do them, gigwalk has 'removed' you from them for no explanation. They offer no support. They have a 'support email' but the only answer you will get is an automated response 'contact client'. They will award you jobs many miles from your house and not give you jobs near your house. You would think a bunch of geeks in silicon valley could create and maintain a good system but that has been proven to not be the case. BEWARE MERCHANDISERS!!! If you work for gigwalk you may end up owing them money...you certainly will not make any considering your computer time, gas, and paypal fees..not to mention frustration..My recommendation..if gigwalk offers a 'gig' pass it up and run away...fast

Gigwalk,

 

after becoming a victim! Gigwalk implies the gigwalkers is always at fault,they have done their best to handle every situtaion.  Gigwalk is all over the internet with very bad reports saying gigwalk gave them the runaround $ 125.00. "Not paying Not responding".  Even Gigwalk advertisement on tumblar states something totally different from Gigwalk clients website. You must log on through facebook to join.  [Gigwalk says that is not true! You don't have to have a facebook account to join Gigwalk. I'm guessing everyone is lying on Gigwalk.  You're paying $3 dollars $5 dollars a job,  even contractors must be paid minimun wage for 1 hour work.  People are saying they drive 58 miles and did not get paid. What do I know about Gigwalk Stats from 2011 to November 1st 2013

Dear Gigwalk,

you shouldn't respond to the truth  with a lie. since 2011 Gigwalk has had compaints concerning payment and responding to issues, while the gigwalkers are in the field doing their project, gigwalk doesn't respond to emails nor phone calls.  It takes Gigwalk  more than two weeks to respond. When gigwalk does respond-Nikki, Joanne acts as if, Gigwalk is doing us a favor. 

Incomplete work: Gigwalk does not have staff to answer any questions about GPS signal or GPS tagging in Walmart stores. Therefore one cannot upload any pictures that does not have a gps signal attached to it. However Gigwalk wouldn't know anything about this issues, Gigwalk doesn't respond for two weeks or more.  It's understandable when the only thing that matters is Gigwalk and the lies they tell.  The person who wrote  Gigwalk is a joke! Must have had a different experience than myself. Gigwalk isn't a joke! Gigwalk is down right low down and dirty, and that girl Nikki, comes off as if she is The GEEK THAT invented the space shuttle.   Retail Integrity stands behind this company-Even a fool understand that GPS signals drops in certain places/what we call a dead zone. Gigwalk does not understand that issues, concerning GPS

 

It's really sad to hear how Gigwalk is reporting themselves as honest company . Since 2011 until 2013  complaints have been written about this company, not paying, not responding,  from gigwalk face book account, people are saying Gigwalk doesn't respond. All over the internet, no support from Gigwalk or Retail Interigty if you run into inssue!

Our workforce is our #1 priority and we take customer service very seriously. We greatly appreciate direct interactions with our workers as their feedback plays an invaluable part in improving our product.

In this specific case our support team had been in contact with the author of this report multiple times over both email and phone to try and resolve the difficulties she was having performing merchandising work through the app. We understand that new technologies require close training (especially during the early days of adoption) so we even provided the direct phone number to one of our support members for assistance.

We patiently listened to her complaints and repeatedly walked her through the correct process of submitting work. Unfortunately, she refused to follow guidelines provided by clients on how best to perform the work and would submit blank or incomplete gigs on a recurring basis. In the end we were forced to block her from the system.
