Gillespie and Son Aluminum Contractors, Inc. Company refuses to stand by their work.. Ormond Beach Florida

 To all of our good customers who might see this derrogatory incorrect complaint made by an undisclosed member of a home owners association I wish to add this statement to my rebuttal. This individual took it upon themselves to file this degrading complaint in an attempt to scar our reputation and lessen our business in as you all well know  a very horrible economy without any remorse. In an attempt to have this removed I became aware of this sites policy of mediation and removal. Not only does it require tremendous paperwork but also a nonrefundable $2000.00 with no guarantee of removal. I question this individuals rational thinking in filing this report. I do not think it fair for anyone to be able to post anything that comes to their mind no matter what state it may be in and even though I have been consumed with this hateful, incorrect statement and am seeking legal advice I only can ask my faithful and potential customers to see through this statement for what it is!

I was also present at the time of the job. Never once did we have communication with a woman during the job. We specified that the structure needed more work done to the job to make it right. They refused to add extra money to it to make it right.

Over a year has passed. I received a phone call from the President of the community and he demanded that I fixed it right away. I called him back and there was no answer for anybody to let me in the pool enclosure. It was locked. He then left me a message threatening me to take legal actions.

The next day we noticed this online. Then I called him to ask him what it was about. He was very rude, stating that he knew that the lady was going to post this. That was very unprofessional as a community on their part.

 My name is Mark Gillespie and I am the owner of Gillespie and Son Aluminum, a State Licensed and insured Company established in 1955 and President since 1973. I ask this individual to please get their facts straight before making a derrogatory remark. Please check your contract date as more than 1 year had passed before issue. Secondly you were told there were issues with enclosure but refused to have them corrected. You were also told incidental damage would be repaired at a minimal expense. As I recall we also had quite a time receiving payment upon completion of contract. This obviously is the problem dealing with a homeowners association; everyone is in charge. As for being rude tio women, this is absolutely ridiculous. We have not had any dealings with complaintant and to claim call was not returned is a down right lie. We have not survived in this competitive industry for over 40 years conducting business like this. We are considered professionals in our community and it just goes to show you that you cant please everyone!
