Glamour Shots unprofessional heartless money hungry, Internet

I decided to use Glamour shots in deptford Nj to shoot my pregnancy photos.  They give you no idea before hand on how much the pictures will cost or the fact that backing out of buying is impossible.  I wish i had read these ripoff reports before even deciding to choose to go with this company, so please read this and don't make the same mistake I did.

I had a nice photoshoot and of course my pictures turned out beautiful, however it was the choosing of the pictures when things went downhill.  I was first quoted about a package that was $4000.00 and i laughed at the girl.  She gave me several more quotes which were above $2000.00. 

She made a 20X24 collage for me which contains six pictures and of course she talked me into choosing the most epensive ones they had with special color options.  I chose the collage and one picture package which incluced 1 8X10 2 5X7's and 8 walllets. 

Are you ready for the grand total.... $1,369.01.  My eyes bulged out of my head and the girl said if i didn't buy now the price would only go up.  I find out later that this is a complete lie.  If you wait like my friend did, they will drop your price to about half.

I don't know what i was thinking but she got me to sign up for a glamour shots credit card to pay for this ridiculusly priced package.  I signed what they call a "contract" and left almost in tears.  When i arrived home i had immediate regret, and began working on canceling the product.

They said "there was nothing i could do" at the deptford store, so i called corporate and was told to deal with the customer service manager.  I called her several times and sent her an email explaining how i felt ripped off and i couldn't afford the package.  I got no response from anyone.  I wrote her another email expressing my right and want to cancel this "contract".

In Nj you have a 3 day right to cancel a contract.  I tried to express this right to the customer service manager and she said the branch manager would be in touch with me.  To this day NOONE has called me or even tried to speak with me.

The next day i get an email from the customer service manager saying they will not cancel the contract bc it says all sales are final.  I then receive another email from her stating that they reviewed my contract and they undercharged me and i would owe them and addition $67.

Now more upset then ever. I looked up my rights and found that any change to an exsisting contract is illegal and automatically makes the contract null and void.  By increasing the price they had changed the contract.

I wrote one last letter, emailed, mailed and faxed it to all of the managers that i felt needed to hear my story.  I received an email, of course no one was willing to talk to me, from the same girl stating that they still refused to cancel my order and i would be responsible for the price.

She did state that i wouldn't have to pay the upcharge now taking back what she said early now knowing that i was right and it is ILLEGAL! She said the same exact things as she stated in her earlier email.  She said if i tried to take legal action their "contract" would stand in court.

I am seven months pregnant and do not need all of this extra stress in my life.  Glamour shots has the worst customer service and unprofessional employees i have ever dealt with.  This matter will now have to be taken to the next level and legal action is going to have to be taken. 

They have no compassion for people nor do they care how much debt they put you in.  They work on comission and are only trying to make a as much money as they can.  If you are thinking of using glamour shots for your pictures, i would advise you to choose a more professional company!
