Initial contact with Global was thru:dont-get-scammed-again.com/mediaplacement.php. Global promises to provide you with info and free ad web sites to become one of their 'Certified Media Placement' representatives.
Their scam gets better when they offer to "turn on" their ad placement service for you and generate thousands of hits on your websites that will lead to enormous profits. Price range for this service as quoted to me was from $1995 to $5995.
I did not buy in to this upsell explaining that I wanted to generate a cash flow using there system before I could afford more options.My disinterest in their up sell attempt was clearly not appreciated.
I have been attempting to obtain username and password info from Global for 3 months to allow me to access the affiliate sites that are a part of the package I purchased. I have no way to track information on my account other than to call Global and request updates. My last call for an update met with the statement that no referrals had been placed thru my websites that they are 'hosting' for me.
Today I reached my peak of "NO SERVICE" nonsense when I was told by one of their customer service reps that they had problems putting e-mail thru AOL, which is my server. Why then does all the other e-mails they send that invite me to upgrade and send them more $$ come thru just fine?
Needless to say, I have requested my money be returned to me. Even this request was met with a run=around response, "Someone will call you within 24 hours to walk you thru this process". I will keep you posted as to my progress - Thank You for the vehicle that is allowing me to vent my frustration.
