Global Financial ripoff phone solicitors Internet

Received phone call this morning. Offer to approved credit of $2500.00, but need to send $221.95. The fee was for the 0 annual fee and 0% interest rate. Offer comes with free statelite dish offer, discount on airline travel, plus a many others.

They asked for checking information. I'm sorry to say I fell for this scam as I thought it would be great to transfer some of my other legitimate higher interest cards to a 0% interest. After hanging up the phone, I realized that I had made a hugh mistake.

Luckily I came to internet to search for the name (couldn't find), so I searched on credit card scams. Although I didn't see this scenario listed, I still smells like a scam.

I'm calling the back and making a stop payment on the check I gave the over the phone. Man, this is a horrible feeling.

Don't come at me with negative comments. I came to this site to warn others, so they won't make the same mistake.

By the way, I've got good credit.
