Global Moving Services ripoff, deceit, bad customer service Sunrise Florida

Global Moving Services agreed to move household goods for family. They quoted us a price on the phone, said they had great customer service and then everything went downhill.

On the moving day, a man wearing the uniform of another company showed up at our door. I asked if he was with Global Moving Services, and he said he was with a "subcontractor."

In reality, Global Moving had referred our business to another company without getting our permission. The so-called subcontractor mumbled something inaudible about a truck breaking down for Global Moving. In reality, we don't think Global Moving ever intended to move our goods.

The new company did not adhere to our agreement we had with Global Moving. We wound up paying about $3,000 more than the estimate. What was really painful is that Global Moving simply ignored our repeated calls and e-mails after the other company had packed our goods in its truck and then handed us the hefty bill.

Global Moving just kept ignoring us for weeks. It appeared to be a scam from the start and we had fallen for it big-time. I urge anyone out there to not do busines with this company, which has reportedly used another name in the past. We got our furniture ultimately, but only after horrible agony and bloated costs.
