I purchased the decision packet, which was worthless. Then started doing research at Ripoff Reports and elsewhere. Despite the advertising that they are selective about who they work with, I was called immediately after receiving the package and pressed to set up an appointment to discuss the program.
I will call at the appointed time and decline the offer:
- Herbalife is garbage. We lost a good friend who we purchased this stuff from in the past
- the 11/24/04 fine to the company by the Canadian Competition Bureau for running a pyramid scam that specifically named the two womem in the information packet video.
- nothing in the decision packet about start-up costs, what the product is, success/failure rates etc. How can you make a decision about an investment without this information?
- that this is a pyramid. Lost another friend that worked for Amway.
I'm sure people can make money at this, working long hours, not being afraid to screw friends and family, and by recruiting others to do the work. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

Yes thats the whole point. Man you just don't realize how this world works. Think about mc donalds taco bell, the waffle house, sams club walmart. What do you think they do, they have 16 year olds working while the ceo is relaxing. Thats thing about herbalife or other mlm companies. People work so hard for 1 to 5 years and the next thing they no their getting paid 15 to 50 thousand dollars a month every month without working because they chose to work so hard before. Now they are making all this money and they have all the time in the world to spend with their family friends take time out for all the special things in life and not have to worry about finances. Their kids are goin to the best of schools. I know this is true because, I've met several of them. Check out this book by Robert Kiyosake. its called Rich Dad Poor Dad and the Cashflow Quadrant. Im telling you theirs a whole different way to make money and it explains why the rich are rich and the poor are poor. They have to totally different mentality's but check it out. OH yeah and im sure they have bad apples in herbalife who try to rip off people because, just like mc donalds taco bells they have bad managers, bad employee's/ Each herbalife distributor is an independant business and either their business is honest and flourishes or just like the rest of the companies like enron will be washed up with their dishonest ways
