Global Prime Financial Services Sent Check that the bank cant confirm Detroit Michigan

I got a letter in the mail today stateing that I had won 45,000.00 I was thrilled to see it. It looked legit and had entered a contest with Publishers Clearing House. So was thinking about going to cash it. I then noticed a few things that were odd about the letter and the check. First was the fact that they sent a check to me to cover the processing fees. If you win something they take that portion first and then send you the remaining. Second was the fact that the company name on the letter was Global Prime Financial Services but the check said the name was America Chung Nam Inc. I did call the bank the check was drawn on and was told the account information on the check was legit, the account number on the check matches the business name on the check. I asked the Comerica rep if this was valid, she asked who sent me the check and I informed her it was Global Prime Financial Services. She stated that the name Global Prime Financial Services was not linked to that account at all and to destroy the check. I then noticed the bank information was Comerica and then the address for the check was Comercia. The last thing that I noticed was the fact that all checks issued have 1 inch on the trailing end for endorsement. The Endorsement for this check was in the middle. I have also contacted the company America Chung Nam and am awaiting a response about the "winnings". Just to let you know America Chung Nam is a paper company for recycling. I wonder just how many people are being hurt by this scam.
