We bought a truck on ebay from GM Truck Center.  They asked if they could bid on the restoration and mechinical work and we said yes.  We received an invoice that included both mechanical and cosmetic work to be done.  We paid.  They sent pictures of certain things and left out all of the issues with the truck.  They took way longer than scheduled to do the repairs and this is on purpose - they want all of your dispute time to expire with ebay.

They finally said they were ready to ship the truck and they used their own shipper.  When the shipper got the truck they said that it was in bad condition and wouldn't run.  Henrik from GM Truck Center (the owner) acted like it was their fault, but the shipper said there were several things wrong with the truck.  When we finally received the truck, it was a mess!  We had paid GM Truck Center to put a new bed on and the wiring job they did was disgusting and could have killed someone.

The driveshaft was actually FALLING OUT OF THE YOLK upon the truck's arrival.  The seat had never been repaired as we have paid for.  The gears had never been changed, the paint job looked like my five year old did it.  Nothing we had contracted GM Truck Center to do had been done correctly.  Once the truck was in our hands, I complained the Henrik about the driaveshaft and he actually told me he forgot to order the right size and that he would ship one out to us.  This business is disgusting.

We disputed the charges with the credit card company and he lied to them as well.  Now we have sent in complaints to the Attorney General in California and we are contacting the two magazines that Henrik bragged about working with to let them know they are dealing with a scam artist.  Do your research and you will find other complaints besides ours.  And watch out - he may try and change the business name.

There Is Help For You In The Court System

AUTHOR: Jim - ()

POSTED: Sunday, March 17, 2013

Let us first recap to make sure we are on the "same page".  You bought this truck because you wanted a dependable, usable vehicle for years to come.  You didn't want problems.  Your method to this end was to was to buy a truck which had existing problems...the extent of which you did not know because you sent your money off to somebody you don't know to buy a truck you've NEVER seen...NEVER checked over for body fit and finish...NEVER heard the engine run...NEVER took for a test drive...NEVER tried out each and every accessory...and NEVER had your own mechanic check over and render an opinion thereof.  Then came step two.  You make some deal with somebody you don't know to allegedly fix the problems which you have no knowledge of or the seriousness of.  This "somebody" you picked to buy from and to repair this junk you have no knowledge of either regarding their reputation, abilities or trustworthiness!  Then this thing comes to you and surprise, surprise, surprise, its nothing more than junk with the driveshaft coming out of the YOKE.

Despite what appears to be a hopeless situation here, indeed there is much hope for you.  People have dealt with problems such as yours for years but in today's world, there is help.  Sometimes the answer contains the proper amount and type of medication.  In other cases deep counseling is in order.  Your first step is to get a member of your family to contact local police and affirm to them you are mentally incompetent and a probable danger to yourself and family especially in the area of handling finances.  The nice men in the blue suits and shiny badge will indeed treat you with professional dignity and kindly escourt you to your new home as you undergo a complete evaluation.  You certainly have hope as you were big enough to come here and publically admit stupidity in making a car transaction especially since there are dealers in your area.  I wish you well and please follow the direction of your future doctors.
