I recently paid The Foreclousre Law Center aka, GMK Solutions, GMK Audits ( GMK Audits is a new for GMK Solutions), $3,000. They were supposed to represent me, as my attorney of record, with my mortgage servicer. They made many promises but kept none. I live in another state, so legally, they could not represent me without a license in my state. They try to get around this by listing several attorneys from other states and allowing people to assume legal representation by a licensed attorney in the state which thay live. Many of these attorney's that are listed, do not know that their names are being used on legal documents and claim no affiliation with The Foreclosure Law Center, GMK Solutions or GMK Audits.

If you have paid these people by bank draft please contact your bank and report them as the frauds that they are. You might be able to get your money back!

Please do your homework before you sign anything. If you have a contract, check the attorney listed on that contract in your state. Ask the attorney if he/she is aware that she/he will be representing you. If you have signed a contract ask for signed copies ( I did, and still have not received them).

Here is what the BBB of PA. had to say about Drew Alia, some of his aka's and dba's:

In early 2011, the BBB requested that the company explain its services, identify the manner in which it would eliminate the pattern of complaints, the training and background of staff providing services and numerous other questions.  The company responded in part to some issues raised by the BBB but not others.  The company did not respond to additional requests made by the BBB.

Specifically, the BBB was concerned with the pattern of complaint activity with the company where consumers were alleging that they were not receiving promised refunds under the company's guaranty policy of refunding the consumer's payment if they could not find a mistake in the mortgage documents.  The BBB also had concerns about certain promotional statements on the company's web site regarding the nature of the business and how it conducted its audits.

Oh, we're going after him alright

Sorry for the confusion. In your post it seemed like you went off topic when talking about FLC. It suddenly became about the BBB. All that aside,a good lawyer will go after a bad lawyer and that's already being worked on. We also have many other options available to us as well. We're very informed. We are a group that are about 16 strong with a couple hundred other victims lined up as well. So we are not a minority, not by a long stretch. It's the same game that they've played with all of us. Just wanted to clear that up.

FLC's Mass Deception!

AUTHOR: Charlene - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, July 09, 2013

Oh, yes! Drew Alia is an attorney and apparently in good standing with the PA. Bar ( for the time being). That's the first thing I did was check him out through them. Now, I have no confidence in him or the PA. Bar.

We have spoken to an attorney about going after Alia and that may happen, for the time being I am much more interested in shutting down his scam before he can steal from more people.

When I said that he did nothing for me, that's not exactly true. It was much worse than nothing. In the documents I signed, I was told not to speak to my lender during the modification process, which could take up to 9 months. If they called I should just let the phone ring since the calls were automated anyway. I finally did answer the phone when they called, and asked if they were in contact with my attorney. They said they were never contacted by anyone regaring a loan modification. It was all a lie. Mass deception!

I was even told by the attorney's paralegal that all my paperwork for a  loan modification was submitted. That never happened!

It gets even worse. But I am not going into all that right now. Go to The Foreclosure Law Center website. See for yourself.  Most everything posted there is a lie.

BS

I can smell the stink from here. Do not try to change the topic of conversation regarding The Foreclosure Law Center and Drew Alia. When you look scam/scum/ripoff in the dictionary, his face will be right there. Don't try to bring the BBB into this. The fact is Alia and FLC are a scam. There are hundreds of people, we have the list, to back us up. He uses threates and intimidation to scare people. Well, guess what, we were fooled once, but not twice. What's that saying, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Well, once was enough for all of us. We're not as stupid as he thinks we are and there is power in numbers. So Alia, or whoever it is that likes to post things here under an anonymous name, we know your game.

Hold On There...

For some reason, I originally thought you were more mature than the usual "you must work for them" crap!  Perhaps you missed totally my point here.  First off, I have NOTHING to do with that firm...not a partner, not an employee nor have I ever referred anyone to them or the reverse.  Notice also what I said in my opening statement..."I am not passing judgement on your apparent problems with this firm."  How from that statement do you deduce I am siding with them???  My comments were about the great big BBB DECEPTION!  But back to your problem with that firm.  If everything is as you say it is, then I would contact your local bar association.  They may have some sort of mediation program.  If your point is you paid them a retainer and they did absolutely nothing but take your money then you have a decison to make.  Can you go after them in small claims court?  Yes you probably can.  Can you find an attorney who is willing to go after another attorney?  Yes, YOU CAN!  This idea that you cannot find one attorney to go after another is purely bogus.  Decent lawyers love to weed out the dirt bags.  The possibility is if you file in small claims, they have the right to bump it up to full court which is a ploy to get you to back down.  It all comes back to your original issue.  Did they do nothing but take your money and say "good-bye" or did they do something and the end result not to your liking?  There's a big difference.  In my view, there is absolutely ZERO justification for an attorney to NOT keep the client up-to-date every step of the way.  A phone call from that attorney (not the secretary) is all it takes.  No attorney is so god-like that they cannot keep the client informed!  None!!!  Oh yes, I almost forgot, is that firm really a law firm with staff lawyers or is it a lawyer referral service?

Vested Interest

AUTHOR: Just another victim - ()

POSTED: Sunday, July 07, 2013

Apparently, you have a vested interest in one ( or more) of the companies listed, or you would not defend them to this extent. Anytime a company has a long list of unresolved complaints with the BBB ( which the companies I listed do) it should serve as a red flag to consumers. I have reported poor business practices to the BBB in the past and know how they operate. If a business does not respond to the complaints and try to resolve the issues, then the rating stands.
In the case of GMK Solutions, The Foreclosure Law Center, Drew Alia Law Firm and GMK Audits, there are many ( perhaps hundreds) complaints on various complaint sites to warn would be clients, even if BBB were not credible.

Again, I would encourage anyone who is considering paying any of the companies listed, for any promised service, do yourself a BIG favor, and investigate these so-called businesses.

Oh and , by the way...My guess the person defending these companies by blasting the BBB is either Drew Alia himself or a close associate. Nice try Drew, but you are not the least bit credible.

Here's EXACTLY Why!

AUTHOR: Jim - ()

POSTED: Saturday, July 06, 2013

Understand, I am not passing judgement on your apparent problems with this firm.  The reason they don't have an "A" "rating" is because THEY HAVEN'T PURCHASED IT yet!  The BBB is NOT what you think it is!  The BBB is NOT part of ANY federal, state or local government body.  The BBB has absolutely Z-E-R-O power to do ANYTHING!  What the BBB does is SELL these phoney, useless "ratings" to ANYBODY willing to buy one!

They are nothing but the same type of pondscum slime that sell phoney college diplomas!  The BBB is a cleverly constructed SCAM designed to DEFRAUD consumers into thinking the BBB has something to do with the government.  They then SELL these phoney ratings to ANYBODY who wants one.  That merchant then goes on to continue to scam consumers but hide behind the BBB when scammed consumers complain.  Need more information?  Go to Youtube and search for "BBB Scam".
