Godiva Chocolatier Selling Inferior Fruit Products Sacramento, California

In the month of October 2012, I have repeatedly witnessed the store manager dipping and selling inferior fruit products. Their chocolate dipped fruit is already up there in price ($12 for 4 or 5 small strawberries in a cone, $7 single large strawberries, $8 strawberry and banana kabobs), so you would think that the manager of the store would always make sure that the fruit is fresh and not soggy or rotten.

Yesterday (October 29th) I went in for a cone of strawberries, which I do when I shop at the mall with friends, and didn't see one cone that looked good. All of the strawberries they dipped were mushy or wrinkled and looked bad. One customer bought a cone and didn't look at them before they left. I didn't wait to see if they would return them.

Someone needs to make sure that the store manager and all of their employees are dipping and selling strawberries that aren't squishy or rotten! People expect a gourmet chocolate store to have only the best quality. If I'm going to pay $12 for a treat to share with my friends and family, it had better be the best! Fix this, Godiva, or I'm not going back.
