We took our package to Goin Postal in Griffin, GA on November 17th 2011  to ship a computer to someone in Arizona and asked that they package the computer up in a better box, and prepare for shipment.  They asked us to leave it and they would do so and then let us know in the morning how much it would cost.  In the morning I called, I was told by the owners Brother, Eric Bailey that he needed more time to prepare the package as he stated he was busy.

At 3pm I went to the facilities and he showed me the package and said he repackaged the box in a larger box and charged us for the additional packaging and shipping rates.  We paid a total of $64.50 in shipping costs including $700 insurance for Fedex shipping.  This was November 18th.  I received an email from the client who said it arrived scratched and the internal parts of the computer laying in the bottom of the tower, wires disconnected.  He said the stuffing from the internal box was gone when he received the box and that the one side case cover was not screwed down.  He sent me photos of this which shows this and scratches all over the top and side of the computer case.

The Goin Postal store was contacted and they claimed the customer may have done this to get another computer, FEDEX claim was filed but a week after the claim was sent through said that they needed more photo's of the inner packaging.  I had the client send me a total 18 photos of package inside and out and that wasn't good enough.  FEDEX is stalling on this claim and I know we didn't ship this computer in this condition.  We tested it throughly and all was working fine.  Fedex and Goin Postal dropped the ball on this one and I am out the money on this computer now and neither wants to accept responsiblity.

On December 6th Federal Express issued a call tag and had it picked up and brought back to Georgia.  We received it on December 14th and it was in worse shape then it was when it arrived in Arizona.  When speaking with Anthony Bailey about this he still stood by his claim that the customer not FEDEX damaged the computer.  This is what the customer said "Why would they think I damaged my own computer that I paid hard-earned money for? I could have walked down the street and bought one. That's nuts. I feel that the box was gone through at "goin postal" as the only packing was the air pillows around the perimeter of the outer box. None in the computer box itself. I thought that was odd, too, especially since the side was off when I got it."(Axtell)  I have to say given the amount of time it took them to package the computer this is very possible that Goin Postal tampered with the computer.  Here are photo's to show what I am talking about.

Owner of Grace Computers

AUTHOR: Rev. greene - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, January 03, 2013

Goin Postal, Owner is angry because we had the evidence to show that his employee didn't package the computer shipped as agreed and now he slanders our business with unfounded and slanderous comments, he will be lucky if I don't sue him for his post and take him for every thing he has.  IT was his employee (Brother) who didn't do what we agreed upon, it was his company that shipped the computer packed shoddy and then lied about doing so.  We filed a claim with Fedex as we would otherwise be stuck with a damaged computer, and had to go to the expense of building a new computer for the client we were shipping to.  Now he is angry because we filed the claim and he was forced to pay us what the insurance amount was.  Don't ship Goin Postal if your shipping anything of value because it could arrive to its destination in very bad shape.  Goin Postal even attempted to place the blame on the receiver Mr. Jim Axtell an elderly man for intentionally damaging the package and said Mr. Axtell was trying to scam us.  Both the owner of Goin Postal and his Brother tried to place the blame on Mr. Axtell.  Fedex paid the claim and Goin Postal held the payment for almost a month before they would even pay the claim to us, attempting to place the blame that Fedex hadn't paid the claim yet.

Avoid doing business with Grace Computers

AUTHOR: Goin Postal Griffin - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 25, 2012

This customer came into my store and we packaged the computer. We did not remove any air bags from the packaging, we only added styrofoam to the inside of his package and then proceeded to put more air pockets from my store around the package and placed it into another box.

He then accused my employee of not doing what he said and made a personal attack against him in this write up which I find distasteful because his business was with me and not my employee.

When they came in about the insurance claim they said the outside of the computer was scratched which would be impossible because of how it was packaged. They also said the hard drive was broken off during transit but there were no broken screws in the box, so there is no way the screws disappeared, so therefore it could not have been broken in transit.

They filed a claim immediately with Fedex for the full $700, which I said not to do because I needed to file the claim due to the fact that it was on my account, when they told me there was only partial damage. They sent 3 different emails, the first saying the damages were for $150, the second saying the damages were then a little over $450, and then a third email that said the damages were for a $653. I still have all of these emails but I went ahead and filed a claim with Fedex.

The claim took longer than normal because the customer had already filed a claim trying to get the full $700 when there was only partial damage and it wasnt there account so it was denied. Once Fedex settled on the claim which was done on Jan 4, the check was mailed to me which took about a week at which time we informed the customer to come pick the check up.

I have shipped hundreds of computers from my store and I know everything that was done in my store was done properly. In conclusion I would avoid every doing business with this customer again.

Misrepresenting Themselves

AUTHOR: Bishop Harry - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, December 26, 2011

First off let me state I am shocked at what I found in the box that was suppose to be packaged for us and which we paid for.  We had placed air bags in the box we took to Goin Postal in Griffin, GA which came from our distributor.  Eric Bailey took those out of the internal box and placed them around our box on the inside around our box in the outer box.  He then added 4 more air pillows which measure 10" by 7" in the outer box but left nothing in the internal box to protect the computer itself.  There was absolutely no packing in the internal box according to our customer and from I could see when the package was shipped back to us.  FedEx picked up this package on December 6th to bring it back to Georgia for inspection.  In all I lost $435.45 in this as I had to replace the parts in the other computer and pay shipping twice.  Once with FedEx and the second time with UPS.  Goin Postal Owner, Anthony Bailey insists that our customer is running a scam, but I know different.
