I called Gold Coast from a coupon that I got in the mail with a $50 off on the dealer maintenance service. So I called them, I said I have a Mitsubishi Galand LS and I need to do the 60000 mile maintenance including Tune up, Timing Belt and Spark plugs.

Phil is the one that spoke to me and said that the price would total $780.00.

I asked him " does that include everything I told you?" and he said yes all of it. Since I wasn't sure, I went the next day to the shop and I saw someone there and I told them that I need to do a 60000 mile maintenance and include timing belt and spark plugs. That Phil told me it would be $780. I asked him are you sure, I don't like surprises. His reply was if that's what Phil told you that how much it will be.

So monday morning I brought the car in. Before I gave the keys, I said I have a coupon for $50, will you honor it. They said of course. Then I asked him again, the price will be $780 minus $50 and you will do a full tune up and include changing the timing belt and spark plugs.

He answers " yah man,, don't worry, we'll take care of you, I'll give you a call."

7 hours later they call me, they tell me the car is done, but the spark plugs are not changed and you bill is $747.00.

Does that make sense? First of all he shoul have called me before to tell me the price, and second if it's $780 with spark plugs, how could it be $747 without them. He should have taken $780 and since he decided not to change the plugs because he didn't feel like it and reduce the amount minus the spark plugs which would have been over $200. I started screaming at him and he told me"relax man, relax...are you relaxed now? are you relaxed?

They put out these coupons to get you in, they don't call you with the price , maybe I wouldn't do it if they had told me their fake price.

They are ripping off people and I don't think they should be in business anymore.
