Gold Medal Ripped me off ! They change parts that are still working and Over charge You! East Brunswick New Jersey

Stay far away from this company. I had a air conditioning problem, They charged me $89 just to show up to the door. Then they asked for another $150 just to look at it. It was 90 degrees and wanted cool air. Afeter about 20 minutes he says its going to cost $4700 to repair. The says I am better off buying a new unit for $12,000.!! I told him the house is only 3 years old. He told me I had some kind of electrical burnout. He tried to con me into finanacing through them. I asked him to leave. Paid him his $239.

Called another company that arrived about an hour later no charge to come out. The servicemen checks out my system and finds some kind of solinoid was bad. He told me it would cost a total of $211 to do the repair. He made the fix and the ac has been working great.

I told him about the last company, he said he hears the same story a couple a times a week about Gold Medal. They come in and try to sell you everything under the sun.
They would have robbed me blind had I made them fix it. Warning to all out there stay away and warn others about this company. I am sure alot of people already got ripped off by them. Checked the BBB tons of complaints
