Melanie Mann Rodgers is the most un-professional person we have ever worked with in 20 years.
She screamed over the phone about not knowing what we wanted to order. She called me a stupid b**** and other obcenities that are too offensive to even type. I debated on cutting and pasting the entire conversation from her, but it is horrific.
I will never order from this company again. I have also filed with the better business bureau, but they only want their membership fees for the year, and their not going to help me with this hostile, mentally ill person. It is sad.
I simply want other to know, if you order something through your family from this company or deal with this person, do not epect to get a quilt. Fortunetly, my check was not cashed as I stopped it in time after not receiving anything for 3 months prior to needing this before the Holiday's.
Bad Karma, and terrible, horrific person. She is listed on Facebook and appears to treat others this way commonly.
God bless her. She threatned me, my home and my family. I filed a police report in my local municipality against her, and fortunetly blocked her so she may not contact or harass me anymore.

As is stated in the rebuttal by the actual owner of Golden Quilt company...I have never worked for them. This complaint was filed as a retaliation by a woman named Melonie Kotchey, who owns an internet business called Shop The Coop. I filed a complaint about her business practices months ago, and obviously, she has nothing better to do than search for me on the internet, find a post I made in the quilt shop's Facebook page, steal a picture of me, then proceed to make up a story about trying to do business with me over the phone. This is how she treats her customers, thereby proving my original report is true. She simply has no business sense, and as I will be giving her information to the owner of the business she is defaming here, she has opened herself up to a libel suit. Not very smart. Do business with her, and she will do her best to make sure she puts all your personal information out there for all to see. I will be following up with another report to the BBB, unfortunately for her.

As the owner of Golden Quilt Company I can testify that Melanie Mann Rodgers does not now and never has been employed by me. The street address as well as the zip code you are showing is not Golden Quilt Company. The phone number is also incorrect. We do not sell quilts. We are a fabric and quilting supply store. We have never sold a quilt or quilting supplies to anyone in Manhattan, New York. We have been in business over 9 years and have a sterling reputation. It is a shame that someone is attempting to tarnish this reputation with false information. Kindly remove your negative remarks regarding Golden Quilt Company.
