Still waiting after 4 months for the second 1/2 of the promised rebate from Good Year and habve finally given up. At least the first 1/2 came but it was one month past the 8 week period promised.
I will never buy from Goodyear again because of this unacceptable lack of customer service and mismanagement of their rebate program. Very disapointed as are many other consumers. Shame on GoodYear.
They will be sorry for this behavior as many consumers will not take this one lying down. Remember just how powerful your good word can be and keep spreading the news.
I will tell at least 1 person every day about this rediculous program. Imagine how Bad a year GoodYear will have if all people caught up in this scam spread the news both about their redicoulsly inflated prices and their gross mismanagement of their rebate program. I know I would never have purchased the tires at the original price if it were not for the rebate. The tires were way overpriced to begin with. Never again.
Screw me once shame on you. Screw me twice (never) shame on me.

I am familiar with this rebate, and its got quite a few rules to get the 160. Are you sure you qualified? Did you charge the tire purchase to a goodyear (or sears, wherever you bought it) credit card? That was required to get the double rebate. Also, did you purchase the correct tires? There are two tiers of tires, ones that they gave 40$ (or 80$) for and ones they gave 80$ (or 160$) for. What type of tire did you purchase?
