Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
Beware that Goodyear Tire charges routinely 7% of the total bill just for using their services. According to an email sent to me by them it reads: "All customers are charged Miscellaneous Shop Supplies of up to 7% or a maximum of $25." And of course, when they have you sign that you ok the work, these charges are hidden on the page. I plan to revisit the store tomorrow Saturday and let people sitting around about this rip-off! (This is like going into a store and being charged up front for using their bathroom, lights, heating, etc.....)

Is this the first time you've ever had your car worked on? Charges for shop supplies have been on every mechanics bill I've seen for at least a few decades. The charge covers the cost of small items used to fix your car that are not itemized on the bill. Fluids, lubricants, shop towels, cleaning products, minor nuts/bolts, etc...

I doubt you could find any service center anymore that doesn't charge this "fee."
I'll bet when you go there Saturday to set them straight, they'll appreciate your input and thank you for enlightening them.......NOT! You'll deserve any cuts, scrapes and bruises you get. :)
