goodytickets.com Jeff This Appears to be a Scam Overland Park Kansas

My wife had just come home follow colon cancer surgery and I wanted to do something to help her feel better, so I went online to purchase 2 tickets for "Once" in February, the same performance her sister was attending.  The search returned the Barbara Mann Performance Center where the performance was being held so I clicked on it and was shown a site that looked exactly like the Mann Center's including the seating charts.  (FYI: the Barbra Mann Center actually does use a secondary site for purchasing their tickets).

I thought the prices seemed high but I really wanted to do this for her so I went ahead and purchased them.  I then received an email confirming the tickets from GoodyTickets.com, saying these weren't actually tickets but I would receive them in February.  That was my first clue.  The 2nd clue that this was a ripoff was the price which totaled $738 (I later purchased 2 orchestra tickes for $172).

In any case I immediately called Goody Tickets and talked to Jeff who refused to cancel my order, made 2 minutes prior.  Now there is no way that they all ready had the tickets which I explained to Jeff but he argued that it wasn't his site that I ordered the tickets from. Huh? Then why are you billing me??

In any case I have filed a complaint with American Express and will follow up with complaints about this this scam to the FTC and the Consumer Protection Agency.
