I received a email from Google Pro regarding a work-at-home program. Of course, I though it must be legit because it was Google. This company IS NOT affiliated with Google in any way- and they do not put in a disclaimer about that either. After entering my name, phone and address on their information form for the so-called free kit, I saw that there was to be a $72.21 monthly fee associated with this membership.

I knew then and there it was a scam. Unfortunately, a sales person from this company called our home that evening and told my husband - I was not at home at the time - that I had ordered the kit, but unfortunately my banking information for the $3.88 shipping and handling fee did not come through. Long story short, he gave them the info. Once I told him it was a scam, we tried to call and cancel right away. There was no answer at the number we called.

Another sales person called the next night to ask how we liked our kit (of course, we had not received anything). I told him then and there that I was not interested in their scheme and to cancel my account. Two days later, $72.21 was fraudulently deducted from my bank account. When I contacted the email address (support@internetincomeinitiative.com), I was told by the representative that they were only a 3rd party resource and that all they could do was to take messages and cancel accounts - they could not give any refunds.

When I asked for the corporate headquarter's phone number and contact name of someone there, I was told that they did not have that information. So, I contacted my own people - at the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General of Nevada and - the F.B.I. cyber crime unit requesting investigations from all of them. So, help me help you. If you have been scammed, contact these officials (they have easy to fill out forms on their web sites) and let them know what happened to you!
