Let the buyer beware! Gorayeb Hypnosis claims to help you quit smoking/loose weight with their seminars in various locations around the U.S. This is nothing more than a cover to sell you vitamins with a company they are hooked up with! The seminars cost about $50, however, you must give them the money up front, and after listening to an hour of how to cleanse the body and make it healthier, they switch to how great these vitamins are & how you can get them NOW for pkgs. of $300-$400 !!!! And then, you can also pay another $75 for their set of 3 cd's to help encourage you. Do not fall for this crap!

Gorayeb Seminars - weight loss with Hypnosis

I want to further clarify my original report on these seminars. When I realized that I was there to purchase their vitamin packages and the $50 hypnosis ad was the lure to get you to come, I decided that the only way I would loose weight was through my own convictions. I asked for my money back during the break and they also demanded that I give them back the booklet in which I had written lots of info about the company, and vitamin suppliments the speaker had referred to.
Also, I will agree that they offer you, at no charge, another hypnosis at any time if you feel you need another 'fix'. However, the catch is that these re-do's are never near the location where you live which makes it impossible to get to them unless you travel great distances!
Moreover, I personally spoke to the person doing the seminar and he has no formal training in either hypnosis or formal speaking and is actually a former 'patient' of the system. Perhaps it worked for him, but he has no qualifications in my opinion to perform a formal hypnosis on anyone because of his lack of training. None of the speakers listed in the booklet were anywhere around and he explained that, "well, that booklet is over 5 years old, so it's really outdated information..." What????

Gorayeb is holding a stop smoking semiar in Lynn next week and I thought I would go. But just for kicks & giggles, I decided to check them out on this website and low & behold, there were 19 complaints against them. Now I know I wont be wasting my $50.00. Whew! That was close.

Works for a lot of people I've spoken too

Yes, they do have stuff to buy during the break. But, I've spoken to a couple of people at 2 or 3 of the seminars, 'reviewers' like me (you can go back for free as many times as you like if you need a 'refresher' when they come through your town again) and some used the supplements, some didn't. The hypnosis worked for me and I used a couple of the things they sold. I've been quit for 10 years. It really worked for me and lots of others I've spoken to. Look, bottom line, if you feel you're being sold to at the seminar, don't buy. It's your choice. Just because you may have felt you were being sold to, don't call it a scam or 'crap'. It works. Just checkout the rebuttals to some of the other reports filed on this company. btw, the CDs are great. I did use them! And, if you've got your book, just go back for a freebee. Hopefully it'll take if it hasn't already. Ultimately, you went because you wanted to quit smoking. Just go and make it work for yourself.
