Just 2 days ago, I was called by a guy named Mr. Jones. He was telling me how I was approved for a Visa or a Mastercard with a 5,000 credit limit. I was in the middle of the nap so I just listened. He went on about how they would send me some package with information about companies that could issue me a credit card along with a few other fancy things. (free gift, ect)

When the guys said that he would need my bank account number, i told him i didnt feel confortable giving it out over the phone but he assured me that nothing would be taken out and that it was only to get in contact with my bank so they could mail the package through them.

Well, I ended up giving the guy my account number and then he went on to tell me that I had like 9 days to review the package and if i wanted it, i would be billed like 30 dollars and if i wanted a card i'd be billed about 220 dollars. As soon as he said that I told him i decided that I had changed my mind and that I didn't want any information. He started YELLING at me, asking why I had given him my information if i didn't want to do this. And he said that he was going to transfer me to his "officer", Mr. Anderson, so he could deal with me. (Which I might add that he sounded a lot like Mr. Jones) So I hung up.

He called me back, saying he was sorry we got disconnected and continued with the harassment. I told him I didn't want anything from their company and he said the information had already been sent out and he was going to transfer me to Mr. Anderson again. So I hung up.

He called back but I didn't answer. I went online and searched for their comany and came up with this website and found out that it was a scam. So I went to my bank and told them that i had just been scammed and that they might try and take money out of my account and asked what I could do about it. They said if I notice that they had withdrawn any money, that I could tell the bank, and sign some paper saying that it wasn't approved and they'd pretty much take the money back from Gotech and I wouldn't be in any loss.

They haven't taken anything out yet, and I hope they don't but they have been calling my house several times a day for the last few days. And it's the same guy too. When they ask for me, i just say no and hang up. My advice: If it sounds too good to be true, hang up right away. Because I had suspicions from the start, and my suspicions were right.
