Grady Health System Grady Grady Memorial hospital Botched Bodylift, botched tummy tuck, botched plastic surgery Atlanta Georgia

I paid for a consultation for body lift and immediately found out that I was billed twice for it it on the same day. I had to call my bank and dispute one of them which I got back. I thought that would be the only problem with this hospital but it was just the begginning of my nightmare with Grady Health systems. I took my firt 8 hours of vacation and saw Dr. Kevin B.  He took pictures reviewed my body and then gave me two options, one being a tummy tuck with two long incisions to avoid dog ears on both sides of my stomach which he said will take less time but to get a better result recommends a second option which he referred to as a body lift.

He mentioned coming in from the back and going all the way around which would allow him to give me a more curvier figure plus removing fat from several body parts and injecting it into my buttocks and giving my  buttocks a more rounder fuller shape. He mentioned it would be more hours, better resulsts but I would be in more pain and the cost would be more.  We agreed on the more costly, body lift option but since Grady was a training hospital and they rotate doctors that I would have to meet with a Dr. Merideth Vandegrift since she would be doing my surgery since he was rotatiing out in a week.

I took my second eight hours of vacation off to meet with the new doctor and discussed everything that Kevin had offered and she said she had to discuss with the head Dr. Fang and came back to say all was a go. I took another eight hours off for preop for surgery and paid approximatley 6500.00 which was the cash fee for the full procedure. I was told I had to pay up front or my scheduled surgery or it would be canceled so I glady paid. The day of surgey Merideth and I discussed how much cc's of fat  she would inject and she said don't worry it would look nice. I said remember i'm going for a fuller and rounder buttock and she agreed. After waking up from surgery I felt like I was laying on a large rock under my left buttocks.

When asked Meridieth why it feels bigger on the left she mentioned she put more cc's in the pockets on the left than the right but it looked fine. Follow up visit and another eight hours I complained about a large, hard mask on the left buttocks, a terrible rash on the left side of my stomach ( which caused me to go to urgent care hospital)where the 3m tape was and a rash in my mouth from the product they had me swab my mouth with she just removed the tape and ignored the issue with buttocks. I have been given the run around since my surgery took place in May. I have not lost not even a half an inch from my waist, I didnt get the body lift promised, have dogs ears on both left and right side of my stomach, left buttocks still hurts three months later and is still bigger than the right with a big indentation where the needle was injected.

After taking another three weeks of vacation to heal and then another 24 hours additional to meet with a Dr. Collin Brady who agreed that my surgery was botched, had large dog ear on the left and small on the right plus buttocks is asymetrically off no solutions. He said he would pass the complaint on to Lisa Turman director of patient advocate to get my money back. I have called Grady at least 10 times, left at least seven email complaints and met with even the head of surgery Dr. Fang who consulted with me today(9/8/15), agreed my ledt buttocks was bigger than the right, agreed with the dog ears on both sides but offered no solution as he stated he cant gurantee the outcome will be better and insuated that my left buttocks was always bigger even though I had never had surgery on it and no other doctor mentioned that before.

For the last month I have been dealing with Lisa Turman who promised to reimburse me a full refund and partial compensation for my time out of work only to now call me back to say I will not be getting a refund with no solutions. the worse part is although I paid my consultation fee and full surgery cost in cash and in full my insurance company was billed four additional consultations which they paid. I was also put in collections for $8500.00 for physician fees from Emory their partner hospital and Grady attempted to bill my insurance company $148000.00 for the same surgery and no its not a typo. Ive been lied to, lied on, over charged, left botched and out of all this money with no solution. I am extremely angry and feel that no one at grady have any integrity.
